Factor in the family friendly lodge and ski school programs, and Alpine Meadows is great for all members of the family. This year Alpine will reinvent their terrain park to feature more "natural topography." With diverse terrain and incredible views of Lake Tahoe, Alpine comes alive during the spring. Laid back, with frequent deck events, Alpine's spring corn snow cannot be matched. Though there is no lodging at the base of the mountain, there are plenty of vacation homes and condos within a five minute drive, and it's only a few minutes to Olympic Valley or Tahoe City for some good eats, and plenty of Lake Tahoe hotels options.
