To North Lake Tahoe
From the Bay Area:
- Take I-80 East toward Sacramento.
- From Sacramento, stay on I-80 east (follow signs to Reno).
- To Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows, Tahoe City and the West Shore - Exit I-80 at the second Truckee exit, turn right.
- To Incline Village, Northstar, Kings Beach, Tahoe Vista, Carnelian Bay, Agate Bay - Exit I-80 at the fourth Truckee exit, turn right.
- Kings Beach is 13 miles from Truckee (stoplight).
- For Incline Village turn left (8 miles).
- For Tahoe Vista, Agate Bay, Carnelian Bay turn right.
- Take Hwy 395 north to I-80 west toward Sacramento.
- To Incline Village, Northstar, Kings Beach, Tahoe Vista, Carnelian Bay, Agate Bay - Exit I-80 at the first Truckee exit, turn left.
- To Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows, Tahoe City and the West Shore - Exit I-80 at the third Truckee exit, turn left.
To South Lake Tahoe
From the Bay Area:
- Take I-80 East toward Sacramento.
- From Sacramento, take Hwy 50 (follow the signs to South Lake Tahoe).
- Stay on Hwy until you reach South Lake Tahoe.
- To get to the lake or south shore casinos turn right at the "Y" (stay on Hwy 50).
- Take Hwy 395 south through Carson City to Hwy 50.
- Turn right onto Hwy 50.
- Stay on Hwy 50 until you reach South Lake Tahoe.
